When you bring your vehicle to us for a brake fluid change we will also give your car a free brake inspection to make sure that your cars brakes are in good, working order.
What’s included in a brake fluid change?
We will run a number of tests and checks during our brake fluid change service to make sure that you are getting the best value for money. These include:
- Checking the brake fluid level
- Measuring brake fluid boiling point
- Assess all brake components for damage & leaks
- Refilling brake fluid
- Bleeding any excess air from brake system
Why does your car need a brake fluid change
Brake fluid will absorb moisture over a period of time, resulting in a reduction in braking efficiency as the boiling point reduces due to the higher amount of water content in the brake fluid. This can also corrode your car’s brake lines, leading to expensive future repair work as well as the possibility of loss of braking ability.
To make sure your car’s brakes stay in peak order, routine checks and maintenance is a must.
